Pulled (or I mean) Lost Tooth!!

TAIJAS STORY--
I lost a tooth on the right side of my mouth. Daces favorite thing is to look at my tooth. The tooth fairy came and left me $1.00. I went to the dollar store and got a build a bear, and it was a girl. (Who knew they had build a bear at the dollar store??)
MY STORY--
So I feel partly, ok all the way to blame for this occurrence because being the horrible mom that I am, I did not take her to the dentist until she was 4 yrs old, and therefore she had a couple of cavities with one being quite bad. Shawn or (Dr. Leonard) filled them but said that one cavity was close to the roots and the filling might kill the roots off, and of course that is exactly what happened. Needless to say she had to have it pulled. She was soo brave at the dentist office but lost it the second we stepped outside. It was a pretty traumatizing experience for her, but we got through it in one piece. Mom had to make a big deal about it at preschool,(thanks mom) and Taija got to show it for show and tell. Now she claims that everyone at school asks to see her tooth every day,and therefore has to take it in her back pack every day. She did however give Dace permission to get in her backpack and look at her tooth any time he wanted to. Bless her heart, and bless Dacers heart for loving her and being such a good friend. She is definitely going to miss him next year.

Taija and her saucer

Taija got a saucer for Christmas from her Grandma Kelly and she decided that she needed to try it out, so as I was shoveling off the driveway she did just that. There was a little and I mean little mound of snow that we had shoveled off the driveway that she used as her hill. I had to fight with her to keep her warm clothes on because she kept complaining that she was too hot but she had a blast.
As she was sledding she found this icicle that she wanted to keep as a pet. She named it icey. Great name for an icicle. She put it in a jar and brought it inside. She just knew that little icicle was freezing to death and needed a warm place to stay. I tried to tell her that icicles love to live in the freezing cold and not inside houses that are warm. She didnt think I knew what I was talking about and brought it in. She put it in a mason jar and after about 2 min. it turned into water. Imagine that!!! She was sad but knew there were plenty more from where that one came from. I had to force the issue that no more icicles come in the house.

Taija and Dace decorating her Christmas Tree

Aric bought Taija a little pink princess Christmas tree to go in her room. Taija was soo excited to decorate it and have Dace over to help her, because she knew Dace would be just as excited as her to decorate a pink princess Christmas tree. They both had a great time decorating it. Everything was well and good until Taija decided that the decorating wasn't perfect enough and wanted to undecorate and decorate again. Dace was not up for that and had had enough.Needless to say that it ended in a battle of Taij bawling her eyes out because Dace wouldn't help her decorate the tree for the 5th time. Bless Daces heart for putting up with my "sweet" Taija.

Bronx Blessing Day

Bronx was blessed December 4th. Aric gave him such a precious blessing. Aric was so worried that Bronx was going to cry the whole way through the blessing but he actually did not even make a peep. The day was just priceless. I am so blessed that we have such wonderful family on both sides and that we all so close.

Bronx smiling

I finally caught Bronx smiling with the camera, and love these pictures. He is growing bigger every day. It is soo sad that they dont stay little too long. He is a pretty happy baby, not as good as Taija was, but close. I cant complain. He brings such joy in our lives. Its amazing how much love your heart can have!!!
