Taija had her Final performance for the year in May with gymnastics and dancing. She loves both and is getting better and better.

Baseball

Taija played baseball this spring and had a fun time. She had great coaches and learned alot.

Halloween

Taija and Bronx had a fun halloween this year even though the weather turned out miserable. We went Trick or Treating to a couple family members and to a few people in the ward and then went to the trunk or treat down at the church. By the time we got done there, their Halloween bags were completely full. No need to go anywhere else. They both loved dumping out their bags to see all the goodies they had received. They both also LOVED answering the door and handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters.

Taijas Birthday

I cannot believe that Taija is 7 years old. Time has gone by so fast. She wanted a ladybug cake for her birthday so I decided to attempt fondent and make one for her. I think I was more excited about the cake than she was. She was so excited to have everyone over for her special day. Taija has been such a joy to have in our lives. She is such a great big sister. It has been so hard for Bronx when she went to school a full day, because he hasnt had anyone to play with. He cant wait for her to get home every day, and when she does he goes running to her and always asks, "How was school Bean"? Taija loves to dance, do gymnastics, do crafts and papers, play with Bronx, and LOVES to go visit anybody she can. She is quite the socializer. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We love you Taija!! Happy Birthday.

Trip to Houston.

The kids and I took a trip down to Houston over Fall break to visit my sister Amber and her girls. The weather was absolutely perfect, we had such a fun time and it will be a trip not forgotten. Thanks Amber, Channing and Chloe for the fun time and awesome memories.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon last Saturday and had so much fun. Dace came with us to show Taija what rides were the best. Thanks Dace!! They had the annual Frightmares going on and Taija and Dace had fun with that. They had employees dressed up with chain saws going around the park starting them up right behind people and scaring the poor people half to death. I wish I could have followed them all day, because the people I did see them scare was halarious, and I could not stop laughing. Call me cruel I know, but I love watching people getting scared. The day was not long enough for us and we were sad to see it come to an end. I think that it is going to be an annual summer day for us every year.

Bronxs Birthday

Its hard to believe my little Bronx is already 2!! He has been such a ball of fire. Into everything, climbing on top of or over everything, and flushing things down the toilet that shouldn't go down it, just to name a few. But I wouldn't trade him for anything. WE all love you Bronx.

Taijas First Day of School.

Taija was so excited for her first day of 1st grade. She was especially excited to eat school lunch. She loves her teacher and loves all the friends in her class.

Taijas broken arm.

Back in June Taija broke her arm at gymanstics, which made for a no swim summer. The one bone in her forearm snapped on a diaganol and broke through the skin, and pushed other bone in her forearm out and got dislocated from her elbow. They had to do surgery and put a pin through her one bone to hold it together. We had to go to the doctors office every couple of weeks to get xrays and make sure everything was healing ok. Everytime we went she got a new color cast. She thought that was pretty neat. She had her cast for 9 weeks. She was such a trooper and didnt let anything stop her.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. We didnt get to go camping because the weather was so bad, but we still had a good time staying home and spending time with both sides of the family. Taija and Bronx both loved coloring Easter eggs and loved having egg hunts. Taija was very protective of the eggs she colored and went through everyones bucket after the hunt to get "her" colored eggs back. When all of the kids wanted to have another egg hunt Taija wanted nothing to do with it!! Thank you everyone for a good time.
